Spot Fake Remote Jobs in India: 7 Red Flags (And How to Avoid Them)

India's remote-job listings have become a magnet for scams. WhatsApp groups, shortened URLs, recruiters with Gmail addresses promising ₹25 LPA for "basic typing." A senior developer in India earns ₹20–35 LPA. A 1-year experience candidate getting offered ₹15 LPA before interviewing is bait. Legitimate companies don't lead with money — they lead with the role.

Registration fee. Training fee. Equipment deposit. Background check fee. Every one is a scam. Real employers never charge candidates. If the "HR" insists, block them.
